Sara Sahores (b. 1998) is a visual artist and photographer from Buenos Aires, Argentina, who now works and resides in London. She studied Architecture at an undergraduate level in Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (2017-2022) and Photography at masters level at the Royal College of Art (2023-2024).

Her practice spans a variety of techniques and formats (from digital to analog processes, including C-type printing, rayograms, polaroids and screen-printing), but is always rooted in the pleasure of looking. This way of intensely experiencing the visual world around her, leads to the desire to capture and possess what she sees - for which photography is the perfect medium.

In her work, she aspires to replicate the pleasure of seeing that is linked to the urge to possess what she sees, and is currently exploring which are the elements that could produce this pleasure. Ambiguity, colour, and layers of discovery in the image are some factors that she believes play a key role.

She has a strong connection to volumes and surfaces, textures and bodies - be they human or non-human. This could be translated to skin, water, or something as mundane as plastic bags.
