Sara Sahores (b. 1998, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a visual artist and photographer based in London. She holds an MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art and previously studied Architecture and Photography in Argentina. Working across different techniques and formats, her practice explores the material and spatial possibilities of the photographic image. Her work has been featured in two solo exhibitions in Buenos Aires (2024, 2025) and in numerous group presentations in London, Buenos Aires, Paris and Arles. Most  recently, she participated in the latest edition of Photo London Fair with Maison Pan.

Her work incorporates processes including Polaroid, scanning, C-type printing and photographic screen-printing. She gives as much importance to the physical object and its presence in space as she does to the image itself.

Sara’s practice is based on the idea of the photographer as a collector of images. She is driven by the instinct to try to keep the things that intrigue, unsettle or simply give her pleasure. These are usually objects and landscapes rooted in the mundane, sometimes abstracted to the degree where they become strange, or strangely familiar. Photography is the perfect medium to appropriate these things that prick her, to then share them with other people and to learn more about herself.
